The Camino de Santiago

The Mission
On September 5th, 2022, we will begin a run on The Camino de Santiago. The history of the Camino de Santiago goes back to the beginning of the 9th century, the 814 specifically and the discovery of the tomb of the evangelical apostle of the Iberian Peninsula. Since this discovery, Santiago de Compostela became a principal destination for the entire European continent.
The Way or Camino, was developed by the network of Roman routes that joined the villages of the Peninsula. The mass human migrations that used the path towards Galicia quickly brought services such as hospitals, churches, monasteries, abbeys and towns.
The French Route we will take is the most travelled and covers 769 km.
We are looking forward to exploring the spiritual gravity that the trail represents in our world and the people, villages and foods of Spain.
