Day 38 - Saturday, June 26

As I begin to write today’s post, I learned that my oldest dear friends mother just passed away and my heart is very heavy. I grew up with her in South Jersey and fondly remember her smile, especially when she laughed - you could feet it, her wonderful cooking and the way she cared about her family. So sorry for your loss buddy -

i will let the media tell the days events.

Thank you for your continued support,

David.

The roads of Illinois are filled with forests, hills and fewer farms than Georgia, Tennessee and Kentucky. Saw a lot of wildlife today as I followed the Ohio River on the Scenic Byway.

Chris took a picture of Lucky as we transitioned him off the road - he runs with me in the morning then co-pilots with Chris in the afternoons

Chris caught me going up one of the hills, and there were many today; not mountainous just a lot of up and down that added up to 2,200 feet of climbing

Chris and Lucky went down to the Ohio River on a hot and humid day. Lucky was like a little kid in a pool in summertime.

Chris was up to his usual self whipping up something awesome for dinner
